Hub Security & Investigative Group opened its doors in Cambridge in 2004 with a simple complaint about the industry it was entering: too many security firms sell a badge and a warm body, then quietly hand the actual work to someone else’s subcontractor. We built Hub to be the firm that never makes that handoff.

Every guard, investigator, and protection agent working under our name is hired, trained, paid, and supervised directly by us. We know who they are before a client ever meets them — because in this line of work, that’s the part you can’t afford to get wrong.

Two decades later, we’re still a Massachusetts-licensed private detective firm first, and a security company second — which shapes how we approach every assignment, from a single-night event to a standing corporate contract.
