Founded in 2004 in Cambridge, MA, Hub is a family-run, Massachusetts-licensed private detective firm and security company, built by former law enforcement and loss prevention professionals who understand the difference between looking secure and being secure. Our Story

Hub Security & Investigative Group began as a small, family-run team with a simple complaint about the security industry: too many firms sell a badge and a warm body, then quietly hand the real work off to a subcontractor the client never meets, and the company barely knows. Hub was founded to be the firm that never makes that handoff.

Over the past twenty-plus years, that founding principle has never changed, even as the company itself has grown from a handful of dedicated professionals into a full-service security and investigative organization serving Greater Boston and all of New England. Every guard, investigator, and protection agent working under the Hub name is hired, trained, paid, and supervised directly by us — never a subcontracted agency, never an unknown third party standing on your property.
